Joseph Wardrup
Joseph .aka. J, is the CEO and owner. J, lives and breathes production. As a former United States Marine and college graduate, J’s unparalleled work ethic couple with his well-rounded experience prepared him for pioneering camera work, even from his days coming out of the intermediate education profession. His love for creativity propelled him to grow from providing contract video services to working with tech start-up Esposure, an esports company, where he served as the Executive Media Producer within the first year.
Simon Swofford
Simon Swofford, Director at Camera Ready Studios, is an accomplished filmmaker with nearly 10 years of experience in the film and television industry, book nerd, and cat dad of two. Simon earned his degree in Film and Television with a concentration in Producing from the Savannah College of Art and Design, graduating summa cum laude. His passion for filmmaking is rooted in a lifelong love of storytelling and a deep appreciation for character-driven cinema. Simon’s portfolio includes numerous award-winning projects, most notably the short films No Pickles (Producer) and Affliction (Director). His work has been honored with awards and laurels at the local, national, and international levels. Highlights include recognition at the Philadelphia Women’s Film Festival and a qualifying submission for the Academy Awards at the Rhode Island International Film Festival.
Luis Velazquez
Luis, Studio Manager at Camera Ready Studios, is the backbone of facility success. As a former United States Marine, Luis is a seasoned video production specialist with a mission-driven mindset forged during his service as a United States Marine. Known for his precision, discipline, and leadership under pressure, Luis brings a rare combination of strategic thinking and creative execution to every project. His extensive background in both field operations and studio environments enables him to seamlessly manage logistics, direct crews, and troubleshoot in real time—often anticipating and solving problems before they arise. Whether on set or behind the scenes, Luis ensures productions run efficiently, with an eye for detail that elevates every frame and a calm under pressure that keeps teams aligned and confident.
