J (Owner - Production Manager/Videographer):
So in terms of team shoots, or working with a production company, because most of our clients are production companies - you might have a lead DP (director of photography), a producer, and then a crew of, say, three to five people.
In those cases, you need multiple staging areas, separate audio setups, and sometimes breakout rooms or a green room for talent. This is where the Flex Studio really becomes valuable. It’s ideal for teams that need a second setup location—like maybe they're shooting interviews in one room while doing tabletop product shots or client meetings in another. That separation is key.
A lot of people don’t realize you can create multiple micro-stages here. And we’ve had shoots where we’re literally flipping a set while someone else is prepping lighting in another zone of the same space. For small teams, having that flexibility, being able to rearrange and adapt mid-shoot—is a huge advantage. They can keep momentum without wasting time moving between locations.
Another thing is, smaller teams usually have tighter budgets. So having access to pro-level infrastructure - like sound-treated walls, dedicated lighting rigs, and ceiling grid mounts, without the need to rent a massive studio saves a lot of money. You can bring your own gear or rent ours. We’re used to hybrid workflows, and we’re here to support it.
At the end of the day, we know how fast-paced it gets when you're juggling roles. Whether you're producing, directing, or running sound all at once, our goal is to give you a space that works with you - not against you.
